PUSH

is a video installation where a closed door is the interface. The sign PUSH invite the public to go inside the projection room. The door is coupled to an open/close mechanism that manages the process of image projection.

Opening the door, the image projected inside of the room gets "pushed along" and what appears in real time, is the image of the interactor. Door totally open is equivalent to a full-wall projection of the interactor, when the door is closed, the projected image is the looping DVD. These images are of tragic disasters upon the earth; caused by nature or by humans to humans. A microphone registers the surrounding sound also in real time.
