FUTURO DO PRETÉRITO

Um óculos especial reveste o campo de visão do visitante. Ao caminhar pelo espaço, ele vê o que está atrás de seu corpo, ao mesmo tempo que filma as imagens diante de si. Neste jogo invertido de direções, em que caminhar torna-se uma experiência de estranhamento do entorno, e um gesto de captura do ambiente, as artistas convidam o público a investigar o lugar onde a obra acontece. Ampliando visões e produzindo memórias dos percursos pelo espaço, a obra coleciona pontos-de-vista sobre o lugar. Os resultados são exibidos numa TV que funciona como um espaço mnemônico deslocado. As cenas vistas pelos visitantes remetem ao passado do espaço por onde circulam, e às memórias de um percurso específico feito por um caminhante com o campo de visão ao mesmo tempo ampliado e bloqueado. Sobreposição de tempos e trânsitos que acumulam formas de ver.

 

PAST FUTURE

Ineractors have special glasses that increment their field of vision. When walking, they can see what is behind their bodies (via internal mirror of the lenses), while simultaneously they film the images in front of them, listening a customized sound that takes the reality sound away. In this inverted game of directions, where walking becomes an experience of strangeness with the surroundings, and a gesture of capturing the environment, the Interactors investigate the places where they are passing by. Enlarging visions and producing memories of travels through space, the installation collects different points of view about different places.  The result is shown in video that seems as a displaced mnemonic. The scenic views recall the past of the spaces circulated and the memories of specific routes taken by public where the field of vision is simultaneously increased and blocked. Overlaying of times and transits that accumulated forms of seeing.
