ENTREMEIO

Video-instalação de Lea van Steen e Raquel Kogan ENTREMEIO é uma vídeo-instalação/escultura, onde público e obra interagem. Composta de projeção de vídeo, de um objeto-escultura no centro da sala e de dois fenômemos ópticos que ocorrem: a reflexão e a refração. Nessa obra, vídeos de queimadas de cana de açúcar são projetados nas quatro paredes do espaço. No centro, um cubo de espelho colocado dentro de uma caixa de vidro transparente com água. O visitante ao entrar no espaço, se coloca entre a projeção e o objeto central que reflete e refrata todas as imagens virtuais e reais.

 

IN-BETWEEN

def.: that which is placed or is an interlude (in something).  An interval of space (between two points or spaces) or of time (between two moments or events). IN-BETWEEN is a video installation where public and piece interact, it is comprised by a video, one sculpture at the center of a room and 2 optical phenomena that occur: refraction and reflection. The images projected on the 4 walls are burning sugar 

fields. In the center a mirrored cube is placed within a transparent glass with water. The visitor when entering the space is placed between the projection and the central object which reflects and refracts all the real or virtual images.
